One of the most impactful decisions to be made by citizens is choosing a worthy representative.

Over the years, I have worked to establish a track record of advocacy, civic engagement and community development & empowerment for the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu in the following areas:

Since 2011, I have moved over 70 Motions that have been people-centered in logic, content and focus.

Some of these motions include: Rising Wave of Kidnapping & Armed Robbery in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Const, Urgent Need for Electrification of Nine Towns & Villages in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Const, Need for Immediate Commencement of Rehabilitation Work on the Kabba – Obajana Fed. Road.

Additionally, I have sponsored over 12 Bills, some of which have been passed while others are at various stages of consideration. Some of the Bills I have sponsored include: Morals and National Ethics (Inclusion in Schools Curriculum) Bill, Federal Scholarship Board of Nigeria Bill, National Social Welfare Board of Nigeria Bill.

Human capital development is an imperative aspect of any community and my efforts to address this have been underpinned by two main areas- Education which I complemented with my ‘Back To School Programme ’and Vocational trainings.

I have helped construct ICT and Skills acquisition labs and facilitated entrepreneurial trainings coupled with various empowerment schemes.

Infrastructure is an integral part of any society which I have not neglected to address. With regards to Power, I have provided solar-powered street lights and donated transformers to Kabba, Ayede Bunu, Otu Egunbe, Aiyedun, Ogidi, Odokoro and several others.

Water supply has also been a focus of mine to which I have constructed solar-powered motorized boreholes and hand pump boreholes in places like kakun, Iyah, Ayetoro, Aduge, Ayere and many more.

Additionally, I have helped, in conjunction with FERMA, to oversee the repair of the Okene-Kabba Road, lobbied for the construction of the ABU Kabba bridge and facilitated the construction of 8km Kabba-Olle-Oke Ofin road.

Furthermore, I have also championed medical outreaches that have seen about 2000 people participate and be beneficiaries with over 100 successful surgeries carried out. I am also facilitating the construction of a Health Care Centre in Ayetoro-Gbede.

Like I’ve said before: agriculture plays a strategic role in fostering economic development and contributing to economic prosperity. To this end, I have overseen the construction of the Agriculture Green House in Kabba and helped with farm developments for my constituents.

I would be remiss in my duty as a representative to not tackle job insecurity and this is why I have secured jobs for over 80 youths in various MDAs in the country. Some of these include: FRSC, FIRS, NHIS, Galaxy Backbone and several more.

I believe there is always room for improvement and that is why I’m not resting on my laurels. I intend to do more following a victory at the February 16 election and hope to continue to reap the rewards of a supportive constituency. #TeeJayWorks
