APC Member Dies After Being Elected As House of Reps Member

Garba Muhammad Butalawa who was elected to represent Kura, Madobi and Garun Mallam, federal constituency, Kano State in the Federal House of Representatives has died.

The Late Garba contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He died at the Prime Clinic, Lamido Crescent on Saturday at around 2:30pm, as confirmed by his personal driver, Balarabe Shehu Butalawa.

The House of Reps elect died after a protracted illness.

Mr. Bashir Sati, Secretary of the APC in the state also confirmed the lawmaker’s death.

“Though he has been sick for a while but we received the news of his demise with rude shock,” he said.
