The People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has joined many Nigeria in reacting to the killing of a former Chief of Defense Staff, Alex Badeh.
Badeh was killed on Tuesday along with his driver when gunmen attacked them along Abuja-Keffi road while returning from his farm.
Like many Nigerians who have reacted, Atiku also knocked the security situation of the country.
Atiku statement which also included a condolence message was made available on his official Twitter handle.
“The killing of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Sabundu Alex Badeh is a stark reminder of the state of insecurity in our land. May God grant strength and comfort to his family to bear this irreparable loss,” Atiku said.
