Breaking: Atiku’s Campaign DG, Gbenga Daniel Resigns From PDP

The campaign Director General to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has resigned from PDP.

Daniel, who is also a former governor of Ogun State, added that he is also retiring from active and partisan politics.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus, Otunba Daniel said the reason for his retirement is personal.

“This is to inform you of my intention to resign from active and partisan politics with effect from today, the 14th day of March 2019

“My decision in this regard is entirely personal to me and having served in various capacities including as Governor of Ogun State, I have resolved to immerse myself in some other vocations and take some new challenges,” Daniel said in the letter.
