The Kano State governorship result is finally out and the state has joined the five states earlier declared inconclusive.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) scored a total vote cast of 1,014,353 while the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 987,819.
However, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the state, Riskuwa Shehu, announced that the number of total canceled vote, which is over 100,000 is more than the 26,536 the PDP is leading the APC with.
Subsequently, the result was declared inconclusive.
A date will be announced later when supplementary election will hold.
Kano joins states like; Taraba, Adamawa, Sokoto, Bauchi and Benue that have earlier been declared inconclusive.
