Some coincidences are too close to ignore. So are a couple of coincidence that played out following Vice President Yemi Osinbajo helicopter that crash landed in Kabba, Kogi State on Saturday.

Helicopter conveying Osinbajo to Kabba for a scheduled visit crash landed in the town’s stadium where it was to land.

ACEGIST, however, recalled that similarly incident happened in Kabba in 2013.

The then Speaker of House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal was in the town, Kabba, to grace the empowerment programme of his member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu constituency, Honourable Tajudeen Yusuf.

The Speaker came with a helicopter. While the helicopter landed successfully, Tambuwal could not go back with same helicopter because it would not work again.

Another notable coincident in Saturday’s incident is the presence of the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Prof. Stephen Ocheni in the crash landed helicopter.

You will recalled that months after a minister of state for labour and productivity, Barrister James Ocholi was appointed from Kogi State in 2015, he had an auto crash and died.

We can only thank God that his replacement from Kogi State, Ocheni who was in the chopper with Osinbajo survived the accident.
