Activist Deji Adeyanju, has cried out from detention where he is being held by the Police.
AceGist reported that Adeyanju, who is a foremost critics of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led government, was arrested by the Police again after spending eight days in detention.
He was detained this time around for a murder case which happened in the early 2000s and which he had been detained for four years but which case him and two others later won and discharged and acquainted.
The murder which happened in Kano State when Adeyanju was a student of Bayero University Kano, was incidentally represented in court by a current APC stalwart, Festus Keyamo, on pro bono, and has spoken on the matter. According to Adeyanju’s latest tweet, the police have yet, gone ahead to take him to Kano to reopen the case.
Adeyanju has therefore, cried out to the National Assembly, European Union Commission, etc.
His tweet read:
