Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has drawn the attention of ACEGIST to how he predicted that the election scheduled to hold today, February 16 will be postponed.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the postponement of the election in the wee hour of the election day, February 16.

Drawing ACEGIST attention to his old post where he predicted it, Fayose said:

“Two days ago, I told Nigerians that the Presidency cabal were considering postponement of the elections because they knew that they can’t win. Now I’m vindicated. With this, they have only succeeded in making their situation worse. Nigerians will defeat this tyranny ultimately.”

See the message where Fayose predicted that the election will be postponed:

“Leadership of APC now in crucial meeting. They are considering postponement of Saturday’s elections till 2nd week of March, using burning of INEC offices in Anambra, Abia & Plateau States as well as insecurity in some States as reasons,” Fayose tweeted on 13 February.

On his take about the postponement, Fayose said:

“@inecnigeria that was commanded by President Buhari through AGF Malami to postpone elections and waited till the 11th hour to carry out the order cannot guarantee free, fair and credible elections. Prof Mahmood Yakubu must resign!

“@inecnigeria under Prof. Mahmood Yakubu is obviously acting a script prepared by the Presidency cabal but Nigerians will defeat them all together.”
