It is two days to Nigeria’s presidential and national assembly elections, but the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose is saying we might just have to wait for another two weeks before the elections hold.
This is the latest allegation coming from the former governor who said the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently in a crucial meeting to effect the postponement.
Fayose who did not give the reason why APC would want the election postponed, however, gave the premises on which the APC will allegedly have it postponed.
Fayose made this known in his official twitter account.
“Leadership of APC now in crucial meeting. They are considering postponement of Saturday’s elections till 2nd week of March, using burning of INEC offices in Anambra, Abia & Plateau States as well as insecurity in some States as reasons,” the former governor said.
