Just In: Atiku’s Visit To Kogi State Rescheduled

Kogi State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the rescheduling of the visit of the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The development which was made known in a statement released and signed by the Head of Media and Publicity of Kogi State PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Usman Austin Okai, stated that the scheduled visit which was earlier slated for 5 January, 2019, has been postponed to 7 January, 2019.

PRESS STATEMENT | Kogi State PDP To Welcomes Atiku on 7th Jan. Inaugurates Presidential Campaign Council.

The Presidential Campaign Council of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Kogi State wishes to notify members of the party in the state, stakeholders across all levels, supporters of the party across board and lovers of democracy and good governance in Kogi State that the visit of the presidential candidate of the PDP, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON to the state initially scheduled for Saturday, 5th of January 2019 has been rescheduled to hold on Monday, 7th of January 2019.

The council also wishes to clarify that this adjustment does not by any means affect the official inauguration of members into the various committees created to effectively drive the presidential campaign of the Peoples’ Democratic Party at all levels in the state scheduled for Wednesday , 2nd January 2019.

The Chairman of the council, His Excellency, Ibrahim Idris and DG camping council Chief Clarence Olafemi acknowledges the ongoing grassroots penetration efforts of all members of the party in the state, the contact and mobilization efforts of party stakeholders, the commitment of supporters of the party in the state and the solidarity of members of the public who share the novel ideals of the PDP and are committed to the #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain agenda of His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON.
