Leah Sharibu who was one of the 111 kidnapped school girls in Dapchi, Yobe State in 2018 by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) faction of Boko Haram has allegedly been killed.
Leah, being the only christian among the kidnapped girls was not released because she refused to renounce her faith.
Abducted aid worker, Grace Taku in a recent video revealed that Leah Sharibu and Alice Loksha who were abducted by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) are now dead as the terrorist group killed them due to non intervention by the government.
In the video, Grace, the Action Against Hunger aid worker kidnapped by the Boko Haram sect in Borno state, appealed to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the international community to come to her rescue. She pleaded that meaningful organizations should help avoid herself and the other abducted secure their release so they would not be killed as Leah Sharibu and Alice Locsha.
In his reaction, Ben Murray-Bruce who shared the video called on government to investigate the claim that Leah Sharibu and others have been killed.
“This is sad. Really sad. Every life matters. I call on the Government to take this seriously and act swiftly to ensure all captives are freed and that cases of Leah Sharibu and others who are alleged to have been killed be investigated throughly. Enough is Enough,” Ben Bruce said.
