The Social Democratic Party (SDP) senatorial candidate for Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti has told the Governor of Kogi State that her party’s adoption of President Muhammadu Buhari as its presidential candidate did not mean that they have stopped fighting.
Natasha, who is from the same senatorial district with the state governor has often accused the governor of intimidating her and causing injury to her supporters because of her soaring popularity.
Recently, the senatorial candidate accused Governor Bello of sending thugs to kill one of her supporter, Ojo Enesi.
She also accused the governor of putting pressure on the immediate past Commissioner of Police of the state to release the suspected killer of Enesi despite confessing to the crime.
Following the adoption of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential candidate of the SDP, Natasha told Governor Bello that their parties alliance did not mean that their fight is over.
“Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi st.
SDP adopting PMB means no truce to you & I. Just in case your APC Kogi thugs attempt to carry out your planned attack against me tonight; know there is now an order to shoot them at sight.
“GYB made my campaign personal to him. Against all democratic principles GYB promised delivering all Kogi to APC. Doing so with his last blood. That’s why he attacks me as the strongest force,” Natasha said.
