The Nigerian Senate on Thursday, confirmed the Chairman and Members of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC).
This followed the consideration of the Report by the Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes.
Speaking on the confirmation, President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, advised the appointees to be apolitical in the discharge of their duties.
“I would like to congratulate the Chairman and members. This is a very important Commission in governance and in our fight against corruption. I wish them a successful tenure and hope they carry out the job before them in a transparent and professional manner devoid of politics,” Saraki said.
Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, was approved as the Chairman of the ICPC,

Dr. Grace N. Chinda;
Okolo Titus M.;
Barr. Obiora Igwedebia;
Mrs. Olubukola Balogun;
Justice Adams Bello;
Abdullahi Maikano Saidu;
and Yahaya Umar Dauda.
