Now, Senator Shehu Sani is daily becoming a social media idol to people, especially people that appreciate intelligence play with word.
Again, the dear Senator has proven his worth in intellectual prowess with his savage reaction to condemnation from some people to Atiku’s plan of giving amnesty to corrupt people.
During the live interview programme, The Candidates, on Wednesday, Atiku had responded to a question that he will grant corrupt people amnesty to come and invest their corrupt proceeds in different sector of the economy.
Some people, especially from the opposition party, have condemned the amnesty policy of Atiku.
Prominent among those condemning it is one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) social media commentator, Kayode Ogundamisi.
Ogundamisi, on his twitter page, wrote: “Thieves United: @atiku Abubakar: I will consider amnesty for looters.”
Reacting, the Kaduna State Senator, on his twitter page said: “Looters are being coveted on both sides; one side is offering them AMNESTY for them to invest; and the other side is offering them ASYLUM for their sins to be washed. Barabbas, thee can now sleepth in Peace, for thy kind hath find honor in our land.”
You will recall that the APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, once told a jubilant rally crowd that once anyone joins the APC his/her sins are forgiven.
Reactions, however, trail Sani’s response.
See some below:
“The best thing i did on twitter was to follow @ShehuSani. He uses Logic to analyse what everybody is thinking and most are afraid to talk Abt… Thank you senator.”
“The last sentence sha…..Chapter 1 vs 2 -3!!!
Hmm, Cleric Shehu Sani.”
“Until we separate looters from hardworking Nigerians, the next generation of youths will think that looting is a career. – PMB”
“And how has the war against corrption help the next generation.”
“One offering amnesty is better than the other who forgives sins of looting. Am at peace after watching @atiku and @PeterObi speak to us Nigerians and answering the lingering questions on corruption. Vote AtikuObi for president”
